Beginnings

Co-owners Jason and Traci Darrow purchased their property in Ashland, Oregon, in April 2018 and built their new home around the blessing of "Slainte," a toast to good health. After many years enjoying the vineyards and tasting rooms across the Rogue Valley, they realized the potential to produce exceptional boutique wines and revived previously untended grounds into a thriving vineyard. Named for strength in family history, Tapestry Vineyard wine captures the joy of gathering together and rejoicing in each day.
"Tapestry Vineyard, for us, is the realization of a dream and the culmination of dedicated work. We saw the potential in this space and brought it to life. The process of learning we underwent caring for the vines throughout the year, working beside family and friends, became just as important as the outcome; the wine."

The Tapestry
In the late 1800s, Traci Darrow's great-grandmother brought a family tapestry with her from then-named Bohemia through Ellis Island. For years, it hung on the walls of the old hotel in Scio, Oregon, and now adorns Traci's own home as a graceful reminder of her lineage. The journey of coming to a place to start anew is woven into our family story; who we were and who we are becoming. The threads crossed at the right time in our lives to embark on a new journey with this vineyard at the core.
