Beginning with legacy vines, and a focus on creating wine with a classic expression of the Merlot grape, we withheld a vintage to ensure we produced a product we were proud to release.  Our Merlot is a blend of two years from our front block. The first year (2021) was aged in new French Oak 12-months and the second year (2023) was held in neutral barrels in an old world style. After a blending session with the 2021 and 2023 vintage, we felt the two were complimentary, thus the Tapestry NV was created. With a nose of Cherry, dark Cocoa, and Rosemary. Creating an opulent mouthfeel, and expressing flavors of Cassis, Vanilla and Cardamom, this Merlot has a spectrum of complexity which supports many styles of food.
